Stock Trading Fees

• The fees for US Stocks are 0.05 USD per share.
• The fees for European Shares are 0.15% of the trade.

Collateral
We normally allow 50% of the current value of your current stock investments to be reused for other investment activities. swissDirekt reserve's the right to reduce this amount or disallow reuse for other investments in unfavourable market conditions.

Taxation on UK Stocks
For UK stocks, a PTM levy and Stamp Duty may be applicable. A PTM (Panel for Take-overs and Mergers) Levy of GBP 1 applied to buy and sell transactions where the gross value of the trade exceeds GBP 10,000.

Taxation on Swiss Stocks
In Switzerland a Stamp Tax of 0.075% is payable on the gross value of the trade.

CFD Trading Fees
Stock CFDs are traded on a competitive market maker price +/- 0.10% included in the bid/ask spread, with no additional commissions (above 10000 $US).

CFD Interest and Accrual Rates
As CFDs are a margined product, you finance the trade value and a financing fee or accrual for every day you hold the CFD will be charged.

• When you buy a CFD, you are subject to a financing charge at the Inter-Bank Offer Rate for the currency in which the share is traded (e.g. LIBOR plus 3%).
• When you short sell a CFD, you receive an interest accrual at the Inter-Bank Bid Rate for the currency in which the share is traded (e.g. LIBOR minus 2.5%).
  For intraday trades this does not apply.

CFD Margins
You must at all times maintain sufficient funds in your account to cover your CFD exposure:

• for stock CFDs, you must maintain a minimum of 10% of the investment value
• for index CFDs, you must maintain a minimum of 5% of the investment value

If the funds in your account fall below this margin, you will be subject to a margin call to either deposit more funds to cover your positions or close positions — normally you will be notified through our trading platform and via email. If your margin situation is not remedied, we may close positions on your behalf.
