SwissDirekt is a small team of qualified
staff with extensive experience in banking and brokerage.
Harald Maul, Chief Executive Officer; Harald established swissDirekt as
a founding shareholder. He is responsible, with Thomas Kuhn, for swissDirekt's
strategic planning and brings his extensive financial and IT knowledge to bear
in his present capacity as joint CEO.
Harald has specialized himself 1998 in trading of stocks and futures. He is a pioneer
in Online Trading and has acquired the necessary know-how and experience indispensable
to survive successfully in the markets.
As an autodidactic he has made trading his lifestyle and has been earning for many years
his subsistence with Online Trading. By trading every day with high discipline he has
progressed to a very successful specialist in Online Trading. He has achieved an extraordinary
performance that even withstood the market crises over the past years.
Thomas Kuhn, Chief Executive Officer; Thomas is a founding shareholder
of swissDirekt. He is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of the
company. He has had an extensive international brokerage career with Merrill Lynch and
has held senior positions with international financial institutions.
He started his career at Merrill Lynch, New York, one of the largest and most prominent
investment banks at Wall Street. Thomas worked at Merrill Lynch, Frankfurt as a financial
consultant as well as a representative of Merrill Lynch Bank, Geneva. As a Vice President
of Shearson Lehman Brothers, Frankfurt, he established the financial futures department
for institutional and private clients. In 1989 Thomas was awarded membership of the
International Directors Council. As a Vice President of Shearson Lehman Brothers,
Monte-Carlo and Deutsche Bank, Monaco he continuously developed his global knowledge
in the various investment segments. Since 1998 he is intensively engaged in the development
of Online Trading.
